Dustin Pedroia has to seemingly apologize for winning the MVP award. Maybe for the rest of his days. He’s not tall enough. He doesn’t have the muscles. His arms are too short. He’s not rich (by MLB standards). In street clothes he doesn’t look like a star-he doesn’t look good with a beard, a shaved head, or with his receding hairline. On some days he looks like a kid from Appalachia. But put him in a baseball uniform, and he transforms into a Mighty Mouse sports superhero, protecting the Boston Red Sox and their fans. (0)
