Silver lining in those sleepy eyes…
If the Red Sox lose to the Angels it won’t be the end of the world. Sophisticated sports fans will enjoy watching the favored Yankees have to sweat it out against the Angels, who possess a hex over the Bombers. So instead of an October sleep stupor-that a Red Sox vs Yankees series would induce-we can watch baseball on our terms; turning the tv off say, at 11pm when they are in the top of the fourth inning, waking up refreshed the next day, and able to enjoy other pursuits in life! Like another championship run by the Patriots and the beginning story lines of the Celtics & Bruins…hum de dum.
